A new permanent dungeon is now available from the events pad in the Spawn Visitor Centre: **Empresses’ Tomb**

This dungeon contains puzzles, parkour and custom mobs. As well as a new boss fight.
You will need at least **three** players working together to progress through the dungeon.
Short-range teleportation commands, ender pearls, chorus fruit, and heal or feeding commands are disabled.

A chance of Lucky Gold is also available for each player in the boss room once the boss is defeated,
but only for the first few weeks of this event to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake (2025). <:gold:300493748914356226>🐍

Hope everyone is having a good holiday so far!

Now down to business. LWC has received a quick update. Password protected chests are more secure, and use a stronger cryptographic algorithm. What this means for you is: You will need to update your chest password. Chest Owners and Chest Admins are able to do so with `/lwc -m p:newpassword`.

If you use a password protected chest for the purpose of allowing others to have access, consider a private container instead!

`/lwc -c private`

Then simply add who you want with `/lwc -m newuser`.

In addition to security, we’d like to remind everyone not to click suspicious links from players you dont trust.

It has been 14 years now since the server was started.
In Celebration, registered players can now use the **/goto** command to teleport to locations documented on the MCO Wiki.
-# If you get stuck in the ground, you can also use the **/unstuck** command, and consider updating the coordinates of the location on the wiki page.

You also have a chance to get a <:birthday_cake:799494470521192458> Birthday Cake from hourly gifts or while fishing in Spawn Lake.
And there are other new fish available which will continue to be available from fishing anywhere on the server.

Our treaty with Snowland has appearantly ended, don’t be afraid to raid them if Guncat fucks with you lol

Just a reminder that we are still buying any books y’all have for our public-access book archives, open to everybody 🙂 I’d much prefer to collect them in their best conditions, but i’ll take a copy of a copy if that’s all that remains. Regarding the belief that the admin team intentionally attempted to hide this information, we want to clarify that the initial demotion of the staff member in question was made under the belief that the harassment was directed toward a singular individual of legal age. However, new evidence has come to light indicating that the harassment was more widespread and included users under the age of consent. Had we been aware of the full extent of the situation at the time, more severe action would have been taken immediately.

As a number of users are now well aware, evidence has recently come to light of multiple instances of sexual harassment by a former member of our staff team (“luigifan100”). We understand that there is also concern that the admin team may have intentionally attempted to hide this information from the community. We would like to address both of these issues.

First off, while the admins are capable of many things, there are limits to what can be observed beyond the Minecraft platform, particularly on external services such as Discord. As such, we implore our community not only to report any such activity to admins@minecraftonline.com immediately but also to report the offending party and messages directly to Discord via the methods outlined at this link.

In addition to reporting to Discord’s Trust & Safety Team, players in the EU can make reports to their local authorities through official channels, which are available on Europol’s Report a Crime page.
